Privacy Policy

Last updated: February 2026

This Privacy Policy explains how Ziggy ("Ziggy", "we", "us", or "our") collects, uses, and protects information when you use our service.

Ziggy is a Slack-based service that helps create Jira tickets from Slack conversations.

1. Information We Collect

a. Slack & Jira Information

When you install and use Ziggy, we process certain information from Slack and Jira only when explicitly triggered by a user.

This may include:

  • Slack workspace identifiers
  • Jira installation identifiers
  • Message or thread content required to fulfill a user-requested action

Ziggy does not store Slack or Jira message content. Message data is processed transiently to perform the requested operation and is not retained.

We store only minimal technical identifiers (such as workspace or installation IDs) required for the service to function.

b. User Information

Ziggy does not maintain user profiles and does not store personal user information beyond what is strictly required to operate the service.

Authentication is handled via Slack OAuth. Ziggy does not store passwords.

2. AI Processing

Ziggy uses third-party AI services to generate outputs requested by users.

Slack and Jira content may be sent to AWS Bedrock solely to generate the requested result.

Customer data is not used to train AI models.

Prompts and AI-generated outputs are not stored by Ziggy.

3. How We Use Information

We use information solely to:

  • Provide and operate the Ziggy service
  • Create or update Jira issues as requested by users
  • Maintain and improve service reliability and performance

We may use anonymized and aggregated usage data to improve the service. This data cannot be used to identify individual users or organizations.

4. Data Retention

Ziggy does not retain Slack or Jira message content.

Minimal technical identifiers required for service operation are retained only for as long as necessary to provide the service.

When Ziggy is disconnected or uninstalled, associated identifiers are no longer used by the service.

5. Payments

If you purchase a paid plan, payments are processed by Polar.

Ziggy does not store or process credit card information.

6. Analytics & Cookies

Ziggy may use basic analytics to understand service usage and improve performance.

We do not use advertising trackers. Cookies, if used, are limited to essential functionality and analytics.
